PALD Plan

Last year, the "Prediction Application for Liver Disease (PALD) Plan" was launched as Motomura's research project supported by KAKENHI in 2022. In this "PALD Plan", we are analyzing big data related to the health of Okinawan residents collected by YHPP, clarifying important factors of liver diseases, and developing a scoring system for screening of liver diseases that can be used for health management by residents themselves, health checkups and health consultations by local governments and medical institutions, etc. We also plan to develop algorithms for predicting future liver diseases, develop applications of these algorithms, and implement these applications in society.
